Overview: |
The need to deliver
information to small or large groups is a must for many
organizations. Finding skilled presenters to do so can
be a challenge. Effective presentation skills can impact
an organization’s ability to provide accurate
information to its employees.
This interactive one-day workshop is
designed to help trainers and non-trainers develop and
deliver effective presentations to groups. The interactive
format allows participants to learn key concepts, practice
skills, and receive immediate feedback. |
| Objectives: |
After completing this workshop participants
should be able to:
- Design presentations that are organized, capture
attention, and reinforce key points
- Effectively use “ice breakers”
- Use multiple media (PowerPoint, Flip Chart, handouts,
etc.) for delivering complex topics
- Read the audience and make adjustments
- Use effective
verbal techniques (asking questions, probing, paraphrasing,
summarizing, bridging, transitioning, and responding)
- Use effective non-verbal techniques (active listening,
voice, eye contact, body language and positioning,
non-distracting habits)
- Manage time
- Handle challenging situations
- Deliver a short presentation and get immediate feedback
