| Course Overview: |
The primary purpose of any workplace performance
learning resource is to increase individual and organizational
capacity to solve problems, achieve results and innovate.
While organizations employ varying approaches to enhance
workplace learning, the idea is to place employees
in learning situations that represent their actual
work environment. This can provide effective learning
experiences that require employees to construct their
knowledge while actively solving problems.
This interactive 1- day workshop provides participants
with the key elements for designing powerful simulations
and case studies and incorporating them into facilitated
learning environments. The workshop provides the conceptual
and theoretical framework behind simulations; it also
gives participants hands on experience in designing
them.
